The wall had collapsed on Friday morning.

"Earthmovers were used to clear the debris and water was pumped out of the foundation pit to recover the bodies," an official of the Delhi Fire Service said.

Friday's rainfall was recorded as the highest in a single June day in 88 years. Five deaths were reported in rain-related incidents on Friday.
